alt.NPR: Youthcast from PRX

To my YouthCast family,

The time has come for me to make a transition. Tomorrow I will post my last audio piece as the YouthCast Host/Blogger. I must say though, I have truly enjoyed this experience: I have learned so much about radio and blogging; I have had opportunities to listen to amazing pieces by insightful and talented producers and even interview them; I had the unforgettable privilege to join producers and artists at the Third Coast International Audio Festival last year; and I’ve had the honor to hang out and work with an exceptional team at PRX.

YouthCast will undergo some changes, all for the enhancement…I’m so excited about this!! Stay tuned

I recently passed the Praxis II in Enlish Language, Literature & Composition, so I am expecting to teach full-time at an elementary/middle school in the fall. I’ve been teaching part-time, but now I’m ready to go full force! And this summer, I’ll lead an arts summer camp with my production company Unstoppable Players, Inc. So you know I will stay busy as always.

Just wanted to take a moment and thank you for allowing me to be a part of all this. It has been a true blessing to my life. Parting words…Go with God! God is LOVE.
