This video captures where Michael fits into the world of soul and R&B and musicianship. He had the singing chops of James Brown, the weirdness of Prince, and all three are kind of scarily good at performing. I hope Michael has the same kind of celebratory, moving, and joyful memorial service that was thrown for James Brown a year and a half ago.
